In the summer of 2010, I came up with a way to ensure that I would not succumb to stagnation and would continue to produce art during its dog days. I asked several artist to promise to make five, one color (black) screen prints each. Accountability to other artists would ensure that each artist would have to figure out how to make it happen. The results of that challenge produced the first Desaturate show made up of work from seven people.
Participating artist Derrick Buisch spearheaded the continuation of the project ushering in Desaturate 2 in 2013, in which two additional artist participated. I did five images but only liked three of them.
